Turkish Get Up
21-15-9 For Time:
Push Press (50% 1RM)
Post Turkish Get Up Loads and Metcon Time to Comments
For the strength segment, you will do 10 single rep Turkish Get Ups on each arm. Progressively add weight up to a comfortable “working” weight. You should not really miss any attempts. Use good sense and judgement for all lifts. When in doubt, live to lift again another day. Remember TGU’s end when you have stood all the way up AND returned back flat to the floor.
This Metcon comes from Coach Rich! For a “Bodyblaster’: Do a Burpee Pullup. Before coming off of the bar do 1 KTE. This counts as one rep. If you cannot do RX’d Burpee Pullups, perform burpee pullups first straight through, then KTE straight through.
