The Bull City Barbell Open is TOMORROW!
Lifting runs from 10am-2pm and spectators are FREE!

We will be prepping the gym tonight for the meet tomorrow from about 5-8pm.
If anyone can lend a hand, your help will be greatly appreciated!!

WOD for Friday 052011Click Here For Today’s Schedule
Press/Push Press/Jerk
80% Press 1RM
3 Rounds:  Do as many Presses as possible, followed immediately by as many Push Presses as possible, followed by as many Jerks as possible.
–Rest–
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Reps For Time:
Box Jumps (30/24)
KB Swings (70/52)

Post Press Loads and Metcon Time to  Comments
For the strength segment, when you can’t press anymore use the push press.  When you can’t push press anymore, push jerk.  Rest 3-4 minutes then do it again.  Use 80% of your PRESS 1RM.

There’s been a lot of longer duration WODs recently.  Today’s is meant to be done hard and fast.  Scale load and box height so you don’t spend time staring at the floor.

OPEN GYM tonight from 7-8pm!  Make up a missed WOD or work on your lifts.
